Background of the Warden

The Warden is the patriarch of a well-respected northern family in the seven kingdoms. A personal friend of the king, he travelled to the capital with his daughters, at the king’s request, in order to become his Royal Ward. Known to all as an honourable man, he worked to uncover the mystery surrounding the royal family and the death of his mentor.

The Warden wields a broadsword, a weapon made of unbreakable steel that had been passed down through his family for generations. It was used by the Warden for ceremonial purposes, executions, and combat. Upon the Warden’s death, the broadsword was melted down and re-forged into two smaller swords, the Young Lion’s Longsword and the Noble Knight’s Longsword.
